Our name will change from 1th February 2010

In recent years, Alpiq has expanded to become a major player in the Central European energy market. The company in its present form is the result of a 2008 merger between Atel Holding Ltd. and Energie Ouest Suisse (EOS). Alpiq has its roots in Switzerland where it has a successful operating history dating back almost 100 years.

Alpiq offers customers in 29 European countries a broad spectrum of complementary energy products and services. Additional information on Alpiq and its activities is available at the website www.alpiq.com.

As a result of the merger and new ownership structure, our local business has been renamed. Effective from 1 February 2010, our name officially changes to Alpiq Csepel Business. The names of our legal entities also change as follows:

• Csepeli Áramtermelő Kft. changes to Alpiq Csepel Kft. (1085 Budapest, Kálvin tér 12.)
• Csepel Energia Kft. changes to Alpiq Csepeli Szolgáltató Kft. (1211 Budapest, Hőerőmű u. 3.)
• Csepeli Erőmű Kft. changes to Alpiq Csepeli Erőmű Kft. (1211 Budapest, Színesfém u. 1-3.)

The name change will not have any direct impact on the operations of Alpiq Csepel Business, nor will it influence the existing contractual obligations and relationships. Daily business operations, including the existing contractual agreements and contact personnel, will remain unchanged.
